Their conference will take place in June of 2012 in Newcastle upon Tyne in the U.K. The metabolic conference will focus on lipids, atherosclerosis, cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, and nutrition. Unlike other events, the HEART UK metabolic conference is open to medical practitioners, scientist, students, and patients. Lecturers will be both national and international, exploring intervention strategies across medical fields.
