Any sleep throughout the day that is longer than twenty minutes is too long and will not only disrupt the nighttime sleep, but it will leave a person feeling groggy for the remainder of the day. It is best to wait until the normal bedtime to get some rest. Lastly, diabetics should never ignore their symptoms. Some diabetics may suffer from another condition like sleep apnea, which could be fatal.
